Zane Kuchera is a Boston-area singer, songwriter, lyricist, and pianist. He is a music composer in the genres of film underscore soundtrack, musical theater, pop, jazz, R&B, soul, and classical.

He is a member of ASCAP, BACA, NOMTI, BSW, and an alumnus of Berklee College of Music. Zane is connected and intergrated with the Boston community of music and fine arts.

Zane has earned a Lyric Writing degree from the BerkleeMusic.com extension school, and continues to take classes in film scoring, songwriting, and music production. He is currently co-writing and co-producing a debut R&B CD with Elena J, and is collaborating with several local area songwriters and engineering their soon-to-be-released music CDs.

Zane has just released his first soundtrack CD of original music for the William Shakespeare play "As You Like It". There are 15 tracks of lush orchestral contemporary arrangements, 5 of which are sung by Zane. This collection of music is unique in that it is a complete soundtrack for the play, and it's ready for stage production. Sheet music and music CDs are available at www.zanekuchera.com .

He released his first music CD of original music (entitled "Patterns") in 2005 and is available on CDBaby and iTunes. Zane is working on a new music CD of original Jazz / R&B / Pop songs with an expected release date of September 2008.
